As at March 2007

• For short commission (say less than 2 days per week over 10 weeks) I would charge
  • £550 a day (pro rata)
  • plus VAT
  • plus any out of London expenses.

Generally

• I do not charge for time spent travelling unless I am also working for you
• For longer commissions I am happy to discuss a reduced fee
• I prefer not to work for any one client for more than 2-3 days a week
• Where Professional Indemnity Insurance is required I would either carry out the work through a suitable agency or charge a higher daily rate
• I invoice monthly in arrears
• I am happy to agree either fixed fees (where the work is reasonably clear) or a daily rate
• I am based in south east London but will travel anywhere in the UK
• An initial telephone conversation and meeting would be without charge
• I do not employ other people but am happy to work with others – staff, members or consultants.
